ONE SPIRIT~ONE CALL SPECIAL EVENT

The Climate Crisis:

Compassion, Solidarity and Concern for the Common Good

Climate change is an unprecedented threat to the global poor, to future generations, and to the very integrity of Creation.  As Catholics, how shall we respond?  Pope Francis, in his recent encyclical ‘Laudato Si’, invites all people into dialogue about the fate of our common home. The women of the Church now call all of us together to listen, discern and act on behalf of our common future.

What:    An opportunity to engage with one another on issues of climate change and global justice in light of Pope Francis’ encyclical. Facilitator will be Pam Wood, counselor, retreat leader and author.

When:   Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 4-6 p.m.

Where:  St. Andrew Community Center, Portland

Go to http://onespiritonecall.org/ for more information and to register for the event.
