Tread softly, for this is holy ground;

It may be, could we look with seeing eyes,

this spot we stand on is Paradise.

--Christina Rossetti

Active Hope:  How to Become Good and Worthy Ancestors

(or How to Face the Mess We’re in without Going Crazy)

The challenges we face in today’s world can be difficult even to think about—climate change, gun violence, mass extinction, social and political upheaval.  Yet, turning away from the realities we face only maintains the status quo. Active Hope, based on the book by Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone, shows us how to STRENGTHEN our mutual capacity to face our social and ecological crises so we can RESPOND with resilience and creative power and ACT on behalf of our world and future generations.

Join us for  monthly practice group exploring the principles of Active Hope through discussion, experiential activities, and group support.
